Movie Story: Mahavir Singh Phogat(Aamir Khan), a former wrestler, decided to fulfil his dream of winning a gold medal for his country by training his daughters for the Commonwealth Games despite the existing social stigmas.
In 2010 Commonwealth Games are years away. Geeta Phogat has just returned to Balali, his village in Haryana, after a month of preparation at the National Sports Academy in Patiala. Somethings about her has changed. She is not exactly the same girl her father, former wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat(Aamir Khan) has trained. He has more confidents, ambitious, better skilled and ready to take at the world by storm.
